Paul M. Achleitner is a former partner of Goldman Sachs, CFO of Allianz, and chair of the Deutsche Bank supervisory board. He started his career in research at the University of St. Gallen and Harvard Business School, followed by several years as a management consultant at Bain and Co. He has been a director of multiple corporations and acts as an advisor to private, public, and not-for-profit institutions. Together with his wife, Professor Ann-Kristin Achleitner, he is an active startup investor.
